Bigger Or Better
So you want to know how to play Bigger or Better? Ah yes, the game where we can turn a penny into a big screen TV, or a washer, or maybe even a kitten. How does it all work? Here it is in a few simple steps.
Step 1-Gather at the home you are meeting at (Junior High to the Melody's, Senior High to the Johnston's)
Step 2-Split up into groups at the home
Step 3-Each group is given a penny
Step 4-The groups go door to door in separate directions. At each house they tell the home owner they are playing the game Bigger or Better. "I have this penny, and I need to trade you something that is bigger or better than this penny." They may trade you a pen, they may trade you a Happy Birthday sign, they may give you a package of marshmallows, who knows.
Step 5-Take what was given to you, go to the next house and say, "We are playing Bigger or Better, and we need to trade you this _________ for something bigger or better."
Step 6-Continue until the time is up, or until you hit all of the homes on your route. Get back to the host home, and show off your prize. The biggest or best prize wins the game!
